Château de Pommard is coming to Tokyo! With almost three centuries of wisdom that has come from respecting and protecting Clos Marey-Monge, they are on a mission to protect the vineyard for another 300 years with Biodynamic viticulture! Chateau de Pommard Founded in 1726 by Vivant Micault, secretary to King Louis XV, Château de Pommard remains one of the most iconic and visited wine estates in Burgundy. Clos Marey-Monge, at the heart of the domain, has been producing one of the greatest expressions of Pinot Noir for more than two millennia. Just for the love of it, let's see who will be first!

    California Vs. France

    California Vs. France Wines Seminar

Let's celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Judgment of Paris! The Paris Wine Tasting of 1976 (also known as the Judgment of Paris) was a wine competition organized in Paris on 24 May 1976 by Steven Spurrier, a British wine merchant. In this competition French judges carried out two blind tasting comparisons: one of top-quality Chardonnays and another of red wines (Bordeaux wines from France and Cabernet Sauvignon wines from California). A California wine rated best in each category, which caused surprise as France was generally regarded as being the foremost producer of the world's best wines. Spurrier sold only French wine and believed that the California wines would not win. What will it be on our 6/25 wine seminar? A night of tasting, education and fun as we compare a selection of Californian wines against the same French varieties. Join our wine specialist as he takes you through 9 selected wines to showcase how different and at times how similar the wine styles can be. A great event for novices and experienced wine-o-philes alike. Do not miss this unique comparative tasting and take a journey from California to France and back!
