New Zealand Wine Dinner

New Zealand wine is known for its bright, crisp flavors and high acidity, particularly in Sauvignon Blanc wines. The country’s cool climate and varied terroir also contribute to the unique characteristics of its wines. New Zealand is also known for producing high-quality Pinot Noir.

Tokyo Wine Events will team up with Colonial Trade.
They focus on organic and single-estate wines from New Zealand. This allows for a greater sense of place and a more distinct flavor profile. Organic farming practices, which prohibit synthetic chemicals, pesticides, and fertilizers, also contribute to the unique character of these wines. Single-estate wines from New Zealand are highly prized for their purity, making them an outstanding option for wine enthusiasts.

Our Premium Venue: Tokyo American Club

Tokyo’s premier private members’ club provides many of the city’s elite ex-pats a cushy place to hang out.

By Andrew Heffernan, CEO of  Colonial Trade co :

Times flies, this year we will celebrate our 10th year of doing business successfully in Japan. Colonial Trade will continue to focus on importing world-class wines to Japan.

I believe we now have one of the strongest portfolios of New World wines in Japan. Our suppliers are rising stars in their industries with a focus on quality rather than mass appeal or the “loudness” of the brand. The majority of our suppliers practice dry sustainable farming and many are certified organic.
