Since he moved to Japan one year ago, Frédéric is officially Wine Educator at the prestigious
Academie Du Vin in Tokyo, where he provides his own wine seminars.
With over 10 years of experience in the wine industry and a seasoned international
background, Frédéric is fuelled by passion to thrive in the trade and has gained a number of
credentials under his belt:
Diploma WSET candidate, enrolled in Tokyo since October 2018, level 3 holder.
Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) from Society of Wine Educators.
French Wine Scholar (FWS) Program Instructor.
CS Wine Diploma (DWS) from France, Rivesaltes
European Quality Wine Hero from Vinitaly International Education.
French Ambassador for Roussillon Wines in Japan / Asia
In his native France, at the age of 14, Frédéric was already harvesting grapes in his parents’
friends’ vineyard. Now, experienced in both Asian and SEA markets with 10+ years of
experience in the wine industry, he lived and worked in his native France, four years in
Taiwan, two years in Singapore, before finally moving in Japan for now one year.
Now, as a wine educator with a huge passion to promote and share more wine knowledge,
Frédéric has travelled vastly across continents to major wine regions of the world. Coupled
with his international background as a wine merchant and consultant, it makes his
knowledge in the world of wines to be immensely different from many other educators.
Saturday June 20th’ Schedule:
6:15-6:30pm: Welcoming guests with the aperitif
6:30-7pm: Powerpoint presentation on Languedoc-Roussillon wine
7-9:30pm: Dinner time
10pm: Closing door
