Le Comptoir began from a passion for delivering “joie de vivre,” β or the joy of living β to people all over Japan through food and drink. This year, they started a semi-private restaurant space.Β
They opened their shop in Nov. 2021 inside the famous area called Shoto In Shibuya ( close to Bunkamura ).

After a classical culinary education and having worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants and Parisian palaces such as Ledoyen, Shangri-La, George V, and Bristol, as well as for the French presidency and several celebrities, Julien decided to settle in Tokyo to learn about Japanese life and culinary culture.
